Smart Mirror

May 2019

  • Designed and built a smart mirror for personal use.
  • Written in Python 3.7 and based on the open source modular MagicMirror² platform.
  • The frame is part cherry and part pine, the panel is a stripped down 2007 Dell LCD, and controller is a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ running Raspbian.

Shack-a-Thon 2019

February - April 2019

  • Directed the design and construction teams for the ASSIST '22 shack.
  • Project was modeled in Solidworks, prototyped with 3D printing, and constructed over a 8 week period.
  • Documentation for the project (dimensions, construction details, etc) can be downloaded here.
  • Shack-a-Thon is an event produced by Habitat for Humanity that raises awareness for poverty. More information can be found at

  • Designed and written in Python 3.7 using the Django framework.
  • HTML / CSS written in the mobile-friendly Bootstrap 4 framework.
  • Currently hosted through Linode on a Ubuntu 18.04 LTS instance.

Eagle Scout Project

March 2016

  • Eagle Scout project completed at Sargeant Elementary School in Roseville, CA.
  • Approximately 75% of lumbar replaced, painted, and redesigned to be more structurally secure.
  • Additionally, the existing sprinkler system was replaced with a drip system and several leaks were fixed.
  • Project involved ~240 work hours across 15 scouts and adults. 74 hours were my own.

Custom Desk

July 2019

  • Custom made corner desk with shelves built for college.
  • Surfaces are 3/4" MDF and all dimensional lumber is 2"x4".
  • Room dimensions were known ahead of time to ensure fit.
